Bila Cinta Kini Tak Lagi Bermakna

Aku melalui tembok-tembok bandar Laila,
Aku mencium tembok ini dan mencium tembok itu,
Bukan cinta Bandar itu yang mengasyikkan hatiku,
Tapi cinta si dia yang mendiami Bandar itu.

Assalamualaikum WRB.
Wassup guys? The Prince is back. It’s been a long while since my last post. Was I busy? Not really. Maybe just not in the mood to write. So, let’s just go straight to the topic should we.
Not exactly right if you guys think I’m gonna write about love between girls and boys but still it is about love. See, almost a month ago we were celebrating Maulidur Rasul which coincidently was just a day after the so called Valentine’s Day this year. Hopefully all of us remember the Prophet’s birthday more than the other worthless celebration. Coz that’s the way it should be. Come on, do you even know who or why this Valentine’s Day is celebrated. I’m not gonna talk about Valentine’s Day though coz I don’t really think I’m the appropriate person to talk about it. Perhaps you should ask someone who’s more knowledgeable than me regarding this matter.

See, we all Muslims pathetically admit that we love our prophet. Mark my words, ‘pathetically’. Again, PATHETICALLY.  Why? Ask ourself. How do we prove that we love him (PBUH)? Just by marching along Dataran Putra on Maulidur Rasul once a year? As far as I know, that’s not the way. To prove that we love our prophet is by practicing his sunnah.  How on earth can we love someone if we don’t like the way he dresses, the way he eats, the way he lives? Wearing a jubbah is one of his sunnah yet we have that thought in our mind that the jubbah is so yesterday. Istighfar my friend. Most of us even think that eating with our bare hand will make it dirty. Think carefully before you say something, mate. How could something that the person we love do, we call it dirty? Even worse, when we miss some of his sunnahs such as solat sunnat rawatib(qobliah/ba’diah), the very first word that comes out from our mouth is, “xpe, sunnah je”. “SUNNAH JE” that phrase pretty much shows how much we look up towards our prophet. Come on, SUNNAH JE? Does that mean we think our prophet’s sunnahs are nothing? That it’s not important?

True that it’s not wajib but keep this in mind folks, when Munkar and Nakir asks us, “Who’s your prophet?” How could we possibly answer it if we don’t practice his sunnahs? We can’t lie there like we could here coz there, only our deeds will answer for us. Even in Mahsyar  we’ll drink  water from Telaga Kauthar from the prophet’s holy hand. So, how could he(PBUH) recognize us if we don’t live the way he does? How should he know if we’re his(PBUH) ummat?

This post is quite short coz I don’t think people would like to waste their precious time reading a long post especially when it’s about something like this. Besides, what’s the point in writing a long post if no one understands it? Just to make my point clear, what I’m trying to say is even at our prophet’s last breath he still said, “ummati, ummati”. His love for us is clearly obvious, so why are we so arrogant to show our love towards him? Think about it.
